Trivandrum: A talent hunt for students of Government schools in and around Trivandrum Corporation area was conducted by UST Global, a leading IT services company in Technopark. The three week long ‘Talent Hunt’ is organised as a part of UST Global’s community reach out programs.
The first session of this ‘Talent Hunt’ programme was held on January 26, 2012 at Technopark, Trivandrum. ‘Talent hunt’ intends to recognise the most talented students from three categories - Lower Primary, Upper Primary and High School/ Higher Secondary. On Republic Day, various competitions like essay writing, elocution, skit, quiz and painting competitions were conducted for the ‘Higher secondary’ category. The competitions for the other categories will be conducted in the second week of February. |
Elocution competition in English and Malayalam on the topic ‘Negative
sides of alcohol and drug usage’, skit preparation and presentation on
Environment Conservation, quiz competition on general awareness, essay
writing on the topic ‘Green House Effect’ and painting competitions were
conducted for students Higher Secondary Category.
