Trivandrum: Women at UST Global served tempting dishes to their colleagues at ‘Yummy Aid’, the culinary event conducted as part of the annual celebrations of their association - The Network of Women USsociates (NowU).
R Pushkalammal, Headmistress, Kanyakulangara Government School inaugurated the food fiesta, which was tastefully arranged at the UST Global's office in Bhavani, Technopark. The main aim of this delicious fest was to support Kanyakulangara Government L P School. The funds collected from the event would help build a computer lab for the children.
“40 teams showcased various delicacies in the 3-hour long food festival and the contest was judged by Sashi Jacob, General Manager and Corporate Chef, The Muthoot Skychef and Ms. Vidya Tiwary, Banquets Manager, The Muthoot Skychef.
Like previous years, this year too, Yummy Aid managed to draw attention
of all the USsociates. The event saw huge participation in the contest
as well as from the USsociates who wanted to pamper their taste buds,”
said UST's Surabhi Mishra.
Overwhelmed by the involvement of USsociates for the noble cause, Hema
Menon, India Head, NowU, UST Global said, “ Every year we organize this,
one of UST Global's most popular fests and we are delightfully
surprised each year by the increase in the number of participants. This
is the time when the IT experts also get to show off their hidden
culinary skills and everyone gets to have a taste of it! The best part
of the celebrations is that proceeds from this event are contributed
towards noble causes. This makes our celebrations complete and gives us a
sense of contentment.”
Some seriously delicious snaps from the fest. Bon Appétit!
