|Trivandrum: The SSLC 2103 (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) results were announced today. The results were announced by state education minister P K Abdul Rabb.
Minister said that the results were getting better since students are concentrating more diligently in their studies. He added that SSLC had never before published results so early. Last year it was on April 26. This was the earliest results' announcement ever.

94.17% of students cleared the SSLC 2013 exams, which is 0.53% better than the last year. Among private students 74.06% passed the exam which is down from 81.16% of the last year. 3078 more students than the last year received A+ this time.
While revenue district and education district where most number of students appeared for exams are Malappuram (77,506) and Thrissur (37,064) respectively, Wayanad Revenue district (12,554) and Kuttanad education district (2,530) saw least candidates. On the other hand, highest pass percentages were recorded at Kottayam (Revenue district, 97.74%) and Muvattupuzha (Education district, 98.90%), least was at Palghat (both Revenue and Educational district).
Hundred percent pass in Government schools has increased to 274 (64 more than that in 2012). Aided schools performed better with 79 more schools getting all pass out than the last year (total being 327). Unaided schools increased by seven for the same. While in adopted schools 34 got 100% pass outs (up by two), 41 got between 90% to 100% passes.
SSLC (Hearing impaired) showed a pass percentage of 99.13 while DHSLC
had 98.2%. DHSLC (Hearing Impaired) had a 100% pass result while 81.96%
was shown by AHSLC.
