Trivandrum: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy released ‘Pada Mudrakal’, the documentaries on the life and contributions of renowned personalities in the social, cultural and political sphere of Kerala, produced by the Information and Public Relations Department here on February 22.
Profiles of O N V Kurup, Kanayi Kunjiraman, P K Medini, P N Panikar, K J Yesudas, Dr. P K Varier, Dr. Vargheese Kurian, Justice V R Krishna Iyer, Kodoth Madavan and ‘Malayala Bhashayum Sahithyavum’, a documentary on literature and culture of Malayalam language are directed by K K Chandran, Nemom Pushparaj, Sajitha Madathil, Soamshekharan Nair, V R Gopinath, Krishnanunni, Joseph Valakuzhi, K N Shashidaran, Viju Varma and A V Thampan.

This 24 minutes long documentaries will be screened in Doordarshan and in various districts through Information Department to inform the public about the remarkable contributions made by these eminent personalities and to inspire the young generation.
Information and Public Relations Minister K C Joseph, T J Mathew, Secretary, Information Department and A Firoz, Director, Information Department were also present at the function.
