Trivandrum: Along with eminent scientists from NASA, young students will be able to spend a week learning various aspects of space - from the solar system to the stars and everything in between - at Asia’s best space camp ‘Space Camp- Saura Yaathrika’.

The camp which is open for students of standards 9th to 12th  will be held from November 19 to 23 at Singapore.

The highlights of the camp include site visits and hands-on learning experience guided by former NASA scientists and engineers. They would introduce the budding astronauts about the fundamentals of Rocket propulsion, advanced Robotic Systems, Satellite Navigation and Tracking, Space Commercialization and Unmanned Systems Technology.

“Saura Yathrika is an opportunity to get trained under renowned NASA engineers, and trainees will get to learn about life as an astronaut, challenges in space environment, arctic survival lessons, etc. In Kerala, we are the authorised partners. We will be taking students from here to Singapore and will be with them taking care of all the necessities. After a weeklong fun filled space activities the participants will be given a certificate by the Singapore Space Academy. This is the second time we are taking young champs for the Space Camp,” said Geethika Sudip, Jt. Managing Director, Kerala Travels.
