Trivandrum: For Muhamad Ali Adam, an artist from Thrissur, painting is an expression of loneliness in the journey of his life.
The paintings exhibited at Vylopilli Samkrithi Bahavan entitled “Samarpanam” are a mixture of his dreams and nostalgia. The Exhibition is a tribute to his mentor M. Govindan. Muhamad completed his fine arts degree from Chennai and Calligraphy course from Cairo University, Egypt.

“Tree is my favourite element in nature. I consider it as my teacher. It has various textures which has inspired me to draw. These paintings are the visuals which were stuck in my subconscious mind during my travels. My paintings are the expressions of the struggles and loneliness I have experienced in my struggle to live,” said Muhammad.
‘Samarpanam’ will conclude on February 21. |
