Trivandrum: G Karthikeyan, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly released the Logo of Thikkurissi film festival on February 17 at Kalabhavan theatre, Vazhuthakad. The festival is organized by Thikkurissi Foundation as a tribute to the great actor. The film festival will be held from April 25 to 30 in Trivandrum and Kollam.

“Thikkurissi was a gem. He was a perfect actor and a human being. Hence he will live in our minds forever,” said the Speaker while inaugurating the function.

‘Out of the Blue’, a short film directed by Ajith Nambiyar was screened after the function. The film was produced with the support of the foundation.  The foundation also aims to promote film making among the Non-Residential Keralites by providing opportunities to them.
