Trivandrum: The National Games organisers’ idea of riding the IFFK bandwagon has to be appreciated. They installed a special camera attached to a computer to take selfies with the National games mascot ‘Ammu’ at the Kairali Theatre.

This was inaugurated by renowned actor Manoj K Jayan who was present at the IFFK venue. As soon as it was installed, the crowd started coming in droves to use the facility.  A selfie mania can be expected at the venue as the Mascot ‘Ammu’ will be there at Kairali Theatre from December 17 onwards.

The delegates can stand in front of the screen and use the touch screen to take the photograph. Then they can print it free of cost. They can also share it on social networking sites using the touch screen.

Kudos to the National Games organisers’ for this imaginative way of promoting the mega event, which is scheduled for late January.
