Trivandrum: The state wide roadshow held as part of the Grand Kerala Shopping Festival (GKSF) concluded at Shanghumugham beach on Friday. It was for the first time that various FM channels, including Akashavani, came together and organised an event on behalf of a Government sponsored initiative. The final program at the beach included competitive events compeered by radio jockeys of FM channels that partnered the 5th Annual Grand Kerala Shopping Festival.

The LED truck, which transported the road show through the various regions within the state, turned out to be a major crowd puller wherever it went. The truck, equipped with an LED display screen, on which images could be presented with clarity even in broad daylight, was a first of its kind to tour the state. The hydraulic system of the truck ensured live presentation of the programmes on a screen that was at a height of twenty five feet.

Prizes were distributed to all those who participated in the events held as part of this roadshow. The mega prize was a 'Nano' car sponsored by Tata Motors. Although the roadshow concluded on Friday, the LED truck would continue to travel across the length and breadth of the state promoting GKSF.
