Eligibility

Students who have scored not less than 60%/equivalent grade in the 10+2/equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English subjects are eligible to apply. Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) students need a minimum of 55% marks in plus two qualify to apply for Maritime courses. The candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1987. SC/ST candidates born on or after October 1, 1982 can also apply. All candidates should have previously submitted their applications for taking IIT-JEE 2012.

Applications and brochures can be obtained from selected branches of Syndicate Bank from February 20 onwards on payment of a fee of Rs. 1000. Selected branches of Syndicate Bank in Kerala are Trivandrum (Statue branch) and Kochi (Main branch). The applications can also be downloaded online from the web site www.imu.tn.nic.in from February 20 to be completed and submitted online along with the fee. Applications have to be addressed to The Indian Maritime University, Mumbai Campus, Karave, Nerul, Navi Mumbai – 400 706. The last date for receipt of applications is April 24.
