Meet Achuth Mohandas, former radio jockey and an active IFFK delegate since 2008.

Achuth really enjoys being a part of the festival

"As a movie enthusiast, the festival serves my senses so that I could keep the passion for movies alive deep inside me. The main issue that I noticed in the earlier editions of IFFK was the poor quality of theatres but now we have much advanced theatres for movies. This has really enhanced the viewing experience of the audience over the past couple of years," says Achuth.

However, this time this has many reasons to opt out from IFFK 2014.

"This time, I'm opting out from the festival because of some heart hurting statements delivered by some well-known personalities. If attending a film festival is just meant to watch movies, people can watch them over the Internet or watching DVDs. I believe that the IFFK is not just about watching movies, it's more like a cultural and knowledge exchange," says a hurt Achuth.

He added that he doesn't support any kind of statement that would hurt a movie lovers' feelings.
