Trivandrum:- Satyan Anthikkad, the director known for his family-themed movies set in rural backdrops, is teaming up with super star Mohanlal after a gap of three years after their previous venture, ‘Ennathe Chintha Vishayam’.

The new film, titled ‘Ammukuttiyammayude Ajayan’, will be shot primarily at Palakkad. Mohanalal is to don the role of ‘Ajayan’ in the film with Sheela as ‘Ammukuttiyamma’, his mother. This is the first time that the two actors will be seen together. The story revolves around Ajayan, who, after having tried his luck in different cities around the world, comes back to his village because of his homesickness. There, he starts a company for producing agricultural equipments and earns his living as a farmer. The twists and turns that occur in Ajayan’s life make up the story of ‘Ammukuttiyammayude Ajayan’.

Several major actors including Innocent, Biju Menon, KPAC Lalitha and Mamukkoya are present in the film. Padmapriya is the leading lady of the film.  Music is by Ilayaraja with Venu handling the camera. Director Satyan Anthikkad has penned down the screenplay and dialogues. The film is to be made under the banner of Aashirvad cinemas and will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor.
