TCS Next In Technopark
To add additional employment to 8,000 professionals | By Yentha

Trivandrum: One of the world’s biggest and India’s largest IT firm TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) has commenced construction of its first development centre in the Technopark campus. TCS is expected to provide an additional employment to the extent of around 8,000 professionals.

 

The centre is being set up in 26 acres of SEZ land in the first phase of Technopark and it spans one million sq. ft. Technopark has already accorded approval for the uniquely designed signature building.
 

 

It had been planned to aesthetically merge with the environment and would have all inbuilt mechanisms to conserve and protect environment, the authorities said in a press release.

 

“It is good news for us at Technopark as it will create high paying jobs and will contribute significantly to our export figures. This decision by TCS will also encourage other IT majors who are not present to move into Technopark,” said Mervin Alexander, CEO, Technopark.
