| Trivandrum: Three different tales unfolds as the 80-minute-long Iranian film ‘Please Do Not Disturb’ rolls on. The fast-paced film, from Iranian director Mohsen Abdolvahab, has been selected as the opening film of the 15th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK), to be screened on Dec.10. A television host is trying to stop his wife from reporting him on the charge of domestic abuse. A TV repairman has an unusual encounter with an old couple who hire him. A clergyman gets robbed by a chatty thief and tries to win back his money in a verbal duel. All three stories, which deal with moral dilemmas, are set in present-day Tehran. ‘Please Do Not Disturb’ won the Silver Award at the Damascus International Film Festival, 2010. Mohsen Abdolvahab started as a documentary-maker and has directed over 23 documentaries on a wide range of social and industrial issues.
