Everybody knows that drinking liquors is injurious to health and against the basic principles of Indian culture, where our great leader Mahathma Ghandhi lived in principle and wanted all Indians to follow for the betterment of the health society. Doctors also advisng the ill effets of liquor drinking which is spoiling the families. Inspite of knowing all the evil effects, if people drink and die, we should not show any sympathy. It should be a lessen for other drunkards.

Absolute rubbish, Ganesh. There is a world of difference from social drinking and being a drunkard. The latter has to be dealt with. I agree but that is not to say that everyone deserves this in a state that has been considered a role model when it comes to all social indices. By the way we should first look at the tax struture in this sector ... Rs 25 lakhs/bar per year. No outlet can make a profit and the only way to stay afloat is to mix the good with the bad. People die when excesses happen. The govt. has to re look at its policies rather than dismissing some erring govt. officials. An eyewash for sure.
