'Gallery The Creant' is promoted by a group of art enthusiasts aiming at building a platform on par with global standards for contemporary artists and emerging talents to showcase their work and seek better opportunities. It was formed by the joint efforts of 'Koottam' – the largest Malayalam social networking site, and 'Genser Holidays'.
“For now, our gallery is located in a small space on the ground floor of Edamala Plaza, Vazhuthacaud. We are on the lookout for a bigger and permanent building for Creant,” said Jyoti Kumar, co-founder of the social network, Koottam. It has been a long standing woe of art connoisseurs in Thiruvananthapuram that the city was bereft of art galleries, save for a few state owned ones. 'Gallery The Creant' was formed to make a change in this bleak scenario. |

"As a holiday tour package company, we were aware about the deficiency of a proper art gallery of international standards in Trivandrum. It is to address this shortage and to have foreign tourists arriving in the city see works of art from artists of calibre and facilitate sale of their works that Genser Holidays has come forward in support of this event,"says Priya Harikumar, MD, Genser Group.

“We are businessmen based in the Gulf. Our sole aim as ardent art lovers is to provide a base for artists to put their works on display to a global audience,” emphasises Jyoti Kumar.
The exhibition-cum-sale of 'Trayati' will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on all days till May 29.
