Sreekariyam, Trivandrum: Though the competition was tough with Stephen Devassy, Benny Dayal, Motherjane and other big names in the celebrity list pulling the crowd, the ‘Roadsters’ event hosted by MTV anchor Rannvijay turned out to be the highlight of Dhwani 2010.

The final day of Dhwani saw Rannvijay take over the football grounds at CET to host a mini ‘Roadies’ program. The contestants who were selected after a grilling prelims, had to sweat it out in the hot sun, throw eggs around, and even cross-dress to get the prize. Faasil S of SCT college of Engineering bagged the pole position at the end of a grueling event. The sweltering heat made Rannvijay and team borrow umbrellas from the crowd. However the heat did not turn off the audience who gathered in large numbers at the center of the ground. Fans of MTV Roadies chanted the host’s name as he charmed them; even finding the time to plant a kiss on a lady’s hand.
